The story

Eat-On-Bornholm was started by Per Andersen, who was born in Rønne on Bornholm. The ideas, the design, the inspiration for the products you can buy today, and in the future, come from the desire to develop something completely unique, Bornholmian, with nature as its closest partner.

About Eat-On-Bornholm

My name is Per Andersen and I have developed and designed all the products in EOB. I was born in Rønne on Bornholm and even though I left the island many years ago, it is still the foundation of my life, my family, my childhood friends, my old football and badminton club, and it all stands on a solid foundation of granite, surrounded by forest, sand and water.

Whatever the season, the island is worth a visit, nature rules over man. When the autumn storms rage it is not possible to sail to and from the island, when the last ferry has sailed and the last plane has flown, you are isolated.

The actual development takes place with metres of white memo paper hanging everywhere in my office, I gather impressions and inspirations during the day and let them be expressed in drawings and designs at night. I definitely work best at night, so most of the products you'll find at EOB are the results of nighttime creativity. It's taken me more than a year to get to this point and I continue to develop more, new, exciting Bornholm products.

Bornholm's nature gives me a symphony of possibilities, a harmony when I move around in it and help create a scale.
