A serving platter made in Denmark from dark Blue Rønne granite from Bornholm. Size 2 can be chilled or heated and is ideal for snacks, petit fours, open sandwiches and herring.
Blå Rønne is the classic and oldest type of Bornholm granite. The stone comes from a quarry near Rønne, and its deep, dark blue hue lends the tableware a calm and distinctive look.
The compact size is ideal for small portions, snacks, petit fours, open sandwiches or herring. Size 2 measures 230 × 75 mm. The granite slab can be chilled in the freezer or heated in the oven up to 250 °C, helping to keep food cold or warm. After 30–60 minutes in the oven, it can also be used as a hot griddle at the table.
The surface has been sanded and polished to bring out the stone’s texture clearly, whilst minimising the impact of the knives’ sharpness as much as possible. Natural variations in the granite make each slab unique. The design has its roots on Bornholm and is manufactured in Denmark.
