A serving platter made in Denmark from reddish Helletsbakke granite from East Bornholm. Size 3 can be chilled or heated and provides space for open sandwiches, cheeses and larger platters.
Helletsbakke is a vibrant, reddish granite from East Bornholm. The stone’s natural play of red, grey and black hues gives each dish its own unique character and creates a warm contrast to the food.
The wide format provides space for larger platters and is ideal for open sandwiches, cheeses, hot dishes or smaller portions to share. Size 3 measures 230 × 150 mm. The granite slab can be chilled in the freezer or heated in the oven to 250 °C, helping to keep food cold or warm. After 30–60 minutes in the oven, it can also be used as a hot griddle at the table.
The surface has been sanded and polished to bring out the stone’s play of colours clearly, whilst minimising the impact of the knives’ sharpness as much as possible. Natural variations in the granite make each slab unique. The design has its roots on Bornholm and is produced in Denmark.
