Only your imagination sets the limits

There are countless applications for the Bornholm dining & serving set.

It can be used for breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening and late-night dining.

You decide which Bornholm raw materials your dinnerware or serving tray should consist of and how you want to use it.

The oak serving trays can also be used for cutting bread.

The sheer number of options available in relation to the colour of the bowls makes each set completely individual.

Tapas

The set is ideal for tapas, where many small dishes require multiple plates and bowls.

Since the products can be stored in the fridge, it's a good idea to arrange the tableware well in advance and serve when the guests have arrived.

Walnut planks

The walnut planks come in three different sizes and can therefore be used for smaller and larger dishes.

They are easy to handle and clean and can be easily lifted from the base plate and placed around the table.

Granite

The granite can withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees. This makes it possible to serve hot dishes directly on the granite slab, such as minced steak or fried eggs.

Fat is important to ensure that the surface is hot enough to form a frying crust.

Let the meal take centre stage

Presentation isn’t just about how the food looks. It’s about the atmosphere that is created when colours, shapes and textures come together around the table.

From everyday life to something special

Create your own setting for your meal

With Eat-On-Bornholm, you can create a personalised table setting – serene, sensorial and just as unique as the people you share it with. Combine wood, ceramics, glass and granite in your own way. Use just a few pieces for a single meal, or create an entire spread that invites guests to taste, reach out and linger a little longer.

It doesn’t have to be a special occasion for the table to feel inviting. A small bowl for dip, a glass plate under the bread or a serving platter that brings the whole spread together can transform the experience of a meal. Not by making it formal – but by making it more present.

Everyday life

Make room for simplicity: breakfast, a Danish lunch or dinner that deserves a more leisurely pace than a hurried one.

When the guests arrive

Let the presentation welcome your guests before a single word is spoken. Combine flavours and textures to create a personal touch.

Tapas and sharing

Put out lots of small dishes so that everyone can reach out, choose and share. The table becomes part of the conversation.

Colours and materials

When differences make up the whole

The warmth of the wood, the weight of the granite, the light of the glass and the vibrant glazes of the ceramics each evoke a distinct sensation. Together, they create contrasts that make the table intriguing without making it feel chaotic.

Choose similar shades for a calm look, or let one colour stand out as a little surprise. There isn’t just one ‘right’ combination. The right one is the one that feels right to you.

Per’s thinking behind the design
“A Danish lunch platter, sushi, tapas, a plank-grilled steak or plank-grilled fish with accompaniments – with my design, you can put together the platter yourself and create exactly the look you want.”
