Some friendships don’t need many words. They provide a quiet source of strength throughout life and make a difference precisely when it matters most. *Helleskålen* is Per Andersen’s tribute to such a friendship – and to his childhood friend Helle from Rønne.
Per describes Helle as colourful, positive and indispensable. That is why the bowl bears her name. It is intended as an everyday item with a personal story: something you can pass across the table, fill with the things you love, and use to say thank you without saying much.
The Helleskål is a handmade ceramic piece. Each glaze reacts slightly differently during the process, which is why the colour patterns, speckles and surface texture vary naturally. The bowls all follow the same design, but no two are completely identical. This gives each Helleskål its own unique character.
The bowl holds approximately 425 ml and is available in five colours. It’s perfect for breakfast, soup, salad, snacks and small dishes – or as a favourite bowl that you always choose first.
The Helleskålen is the perfect gift for a friend, a family member or someone who has made a difference. The story of friendship gives the gift a meaning that goes beyond its shape and colour.
The bowl is suitable for the fridge and the dishwasher. It is not suitable for the oven or the freezer. As the ceramics are handmade, the dimensions and appearance may vary slightly.

Because every bowl is handmade. These variations are a natural part of the craft and make each bowl unique.
